On April 19, 2025, nine CMIS students proudly joined thousands of performers in a once-in-a-lifetime event — the Traditional Fon Leb Dance, performed in the distinctive style of Princess Dara Rasmi’s royal court. The performance extended from the Three Kings Monument across the inner moat of Chiang Mai, filling the streets with grace, rhythm, and cultural pride.
This unforgettable event officially set a new Guinness World Record with 7,218 dancers, breaking the previous record of 5,255 participants. The streets were filled with locals and visitors alike, coming together to witness and celebrate this cultural milestone.
This mass performance not only reflects the unity and pride of the people of Chiang Mai, but also showcases to the world the rich Lanna identity that continues to be preserved, passed down, and proudly presented.

High School students from Thai and Foreign Language classes traveled to the Baan Nok Kok Na farm in Chiangmai's Sansai area on Friday, February 24, which is about 45 minutes away from the school. The students took part in a variety of activities while learning about local customs and lifestyles in Thailand. Students learned how to transplant rice seedlings in the paddy fields. They learned that rice is the most significant crop and that the village's riches and prosperity are centered on the rice fields. Students also liked creating Som-Tum from fresh veggies and learning how to make traditional roasted chicken with hay. The journey came to a close with enjoyable moments.
